Me, myself and I.
One of the most important aspect of mental health is recognizing who you are and what you want in life. It is also a vital aspect of one's happiness and self attainment.
Yet, increasingly, our contemporary culture seems to mock the very idea that there is anything solid and true about the self. Cosmetics, online profiles and tell-all blogs carry the whiff of wishful self. Steroids, stimulants, and doping transform athletic and academic performance. Fabricated memoirs become best-sellers. Amid a clutter of counterfeits, the core self is struggling to assert itself.
People rush after things just because it is in. Is it not important to first know whether that thing suits you or not? One the the greatest wars to reach "ourselves" is with ego. If we could just win this war and reach deep within ourselves we'll have a great life.
I wish you "happy loving your own selves :)"
